Holiday Highlights

Christmas emerged to be Limegrove’s most wonderful time of the year, with loads to experience, explore and enjoy.

The Caribbean-themed holiday décor around the Centre was a hit with locals and tourists, who couldn’t seem to get enough of island design touches like the Christmas trees made of coconuts, starfish replicas and driftwood. See more here

The Caribbean flavour continued at the Christmas Craft Fair, now an annual event, which showcases the bespoke work of artisans, fine artists and craftspeople in Limegrove’s picturesque Palm Courtyard.

Throughout the Christmas season, artists from around Barbados delivered special holiday performances at lunch and dinnertime. The entertainment roster included a much-talked-about musical evening hosted by Pianoman Caribbean, which featured 10 of the island’s best pianists weaving their way through various genres of stirring arrangements.

And what’s the holiday season without a bit of gift-giving and indulgence? In addition to entertainment, craft-gazing and eye-catching decorations, Limegrove proved to be the best place to shop in Barbados, with its duty-free shopping and well-blended mix of the world’s best luxury brands and independently run boutiques.
