Bikefest A Roaring Success
Limegrove welcomed the Barbados biking community, motorbike brands and enthusiasts to the first ever Bikefest on Saturday, October 11.
The Palm Courtyard was the setting for a wide-ranging display of “sweet machines,” which included classic and contemporary models and signature rides.
Standouts on display included the classic 2003 Harley-Davidson Softail 100th Anniversary Edition; the world-famous Sportster and the iconic Fat Boy. The Honda Rebel; Yamaha V Star Classic; Ducati and the dozens of street bikes showcased also built buzz throughout the evening event.
“Limegrove thought it would be a wonderful idea to celebrate the biking lifestyle and to showcase the fantastic collection of motorbikes on the island,” said Lynne Williams of Limegrove Events.
“We were also thrilled to partner with Harley-Davidson West Indies for the event. It really provided a unique forum for the local biking community to connect in one location around a common interest.”
From the start of Bikefest until its sunset close, motorbike enthusiasts and shoppers joined in the action, with some even hopping atop a few of the machines on display for photo ops.
In addition to Harley-Davidson, Powerhouse Supplies and Moto Bar & Bistro showcased their products and services at the inaugural event.
